One of our biggest changes was to reduce the impact of having a large number of characters in the same place. We introduced a new system that changes the character resolution dynamically based on their clothing and complexity, and their distance from the camera. This system reduces the character performance issues by 80% and [b]increases the frame rate by as much as 15 extra frames per second.[/b] In addition, we went over thousands of textures and items optimized them. This optimizations [b]increases the game performance by 25%-50%, the required memory by 25%, and the loading time between maps by as much as 30%. [/b] As a result of these changes, you should notice a significant improvement to LoE performance. These changes makes sure that you will have a more intuitive and smoother movement and jumping, without changing too much of the character stats.
