Patch Notes: 'Demo soon' version. From here we will be mostly fine tuning damage, AI times, handling and bug fixing. [/list] Damage (WIP) [list] [*]Still using existing damage model but with some bells and whistles. Sudden/fast suspension compressions cause more damage than slower landings. [*]Suspension can be damaged then destroyed now from multiple impacts [*]Damage to tires/wheels/suspension now occurs roughly in this order of impact magnitude: tread loss, suspension damage, tire punctures, wheel deform (toe in/out), tire blow out, wheel loss, swing arm loss [*]If you see a 'wrong' looking crash that does too much/little damage please save footage to share with us [/list] Dust [list] [*]Dust values changed a fair bit, steering dust not 'doing much' at this point as we're unsure which direction to take it [*]RCS vents now visibly and audibly sputter when blocked [/list] Rover setup [list] [*]Rover is currently 6WD, rear 2 axles locked together, 20% power sent to fronts (using default setup) [*]Dropped power significantly as we were regularly pure wheel spin all the time, giving us an arcade hovercraft feel [*]LSD axle differentials on all axles [*]Updated CoM/inertia so rover should feel more normal when rolling, be easier to save when side wheelie-ing [*]Rover tuning options/min/max settings updated to reflect more realistic values [*]IRF decided to limit steering and boost RCS to force more driving skill. [*]Tire model updated [/list] Gameplay [list] [*]Pace Notes updated to show distance + fwd arrow, then upcoming checkpoint [*]Survey drone snappier, less inertia based [*]Drone survey unlimited outside of Rallies [*]Drone survey time is now 3/4/5 minutes based on stage length [*]Cameras no longer "look down through" monoliths [*]Mechanic informs player how to clear out dust [*]RCS + CoM changes should = much easier to roll the rover back onto its wheels [*]RCS rotation possibly a little too strong right now [*]Updated all weather/lighting setups to be less 'solid yellow' and more nuanced. [*]Various texture colours returned to more realistic values [*]More Bennet/Race Engineer commentary throughout stages (voice audio to come soon) [*]Driver grunts from high impacts [*]Start line drone colours readable at Low Qual now [*]Point lights/reflections added for all checkpoint light beams [*]Frame rate should be a little better, plz give feedback. If you've got hitching, does it hitch to begin with then run smoothly or hitch constantly? [*]Fixed wall of water near lake [*]Chase cameras both use new method, one is locked, one unlocked [*]VSync on in menus to help fix(?) high gpu load there, plus added a vsync settings option [*]Rally uses human created times now, WIP.
