Hi everyone, it's our first time writing a proper post on our STEAM page as the developers! Phew~ Hope you've been having fun playing Cuisineer! Just wanna say we've definitely been reading the comments, and we're really thankful for all the love and support shown to us so far. We hear your concerns and are working on what we can. It's been a busy weekend for us here as well ^^;;; ALRIGHT~ We're here to update you that we're planning a small patch by this weekend.
Week 1 Patch
Audio

You can toggle on/off eating sounds in restaurant in Options Menu. Hope this helps for those with Misophonia :)
We've noted that the item pickup audio might be a bit shrill, so it's undergoing some EQ work to be toned down a bit.
Inventory

Your Ingredients and Materials will now stack up to 30 in your inventory! Now you can collect more during your dungeon runs!
Playtime Tracking

Previously, the in-game time did not include when you've paused the game, but now it has been changed to include your paused time.
Controller Issues

Game should now automatically pause when controller is disconnected!
Craving Days

We've noted that customers coming in on craving days did not crave the mentioned ingredient, as such we've buffed it from 10% to 50%!
Brewing Costs Reduced greatly Ankhiluun has heard the outcry and will reduce their prices greatly.

Brewing your weapons for new mods now start from 100 coins (500 previously).
The cost for constantly re-brewing your weapon is now at a slower increment, and will cap at 3k coins.
Itemization Issues Gear mods are designed to be very impactful to your playstyle, but we've noticed that as some of the mods were undertuned, they felt weak to some of the players. As such we will be implementing the following buffs:

Bitter stacks buff (Buffed to 10 stacks, from 5)
Sweetened defense buff (10% to 30% as a base status)
Toasty stacks buff (Buffed to 5 stacks, from 3)

Note on Toasty: This isn't the end of Toasty buffs, we hope to add a further direct damage component, probably on application, but we hope you can give us some time to work on that properly.

Note on combat related issues Throughout the weekend, a consistent theme from feedback was that weapon damage upgrades felt pitiful (only going up by 1 damage) as well as enemies feeling too damage spongey. While a general pass on balance and enemy health is being looked into, in the meantime we plan to have a more in-depth dev blog to provide some insight into why certain systems are the way they are, what we think the problems are and how we intend to change them both in the near future, so do look out for that! Possible In-game Communication Issues / Advice While we attempt to make things clearer in game, we are currently working on a Cuisineer Wiki and will update you soon on that! Some of the stuff that will be included in the Wiki (amongst other things):

The rates for Brewing
The kinds of mods that each dish can possible provide
If you think that you've lost your weapon, do pop by Briquette (Upgrade option) or Ankhiluun (Brew option) to check if they are holding onto them for safe keeping! -----------------
First Month Patch
We're also looking at a patch sometime before Christmas~ And hopefully can push some of these issues earlier (but no promises!) Graphics Settings (If we can squeeze this in earlier we'll try)

Implementation of Vsync
Windowed Mode
Memory Leak Issue

We're aware of a memory leak... somewhere, especially when there are a huge number of mobs during the Boss battles. We're currently looking into it, and hope to have it resolved soon *fingers crossed*
Getting kicked out of your inventory at midnight can be jarring

We're currently looking into this, but as implementation to fix this might cause more bugs, we hope for patience to ensure we can ensure it doesn't affect other features
Pausing time when in Inventory in town We understand that it might be frustrating for some players who want to spend time to re-arrange their inventory or read through the items. We'll be making a toggle option in the Settings Menu to allow players to have the decision as to whether time still runs while you're looking in the inventory... IN TOWN. (Please note that looking at your inventory in the dungeons will still be dangerous so make sure to stop in a safe place.) In addition we're currently looking into these few other QoLs and fixes after the Week 1 Patch:

Design an FX to notify players of where their weapons are after upgrade/brew
NPCs to have an overhead indicator if a piece of Gear / Weapon is ready for collection
Toasty Buff gets its direct damage component
Redesign debt payment UI to be more flexible
Add levels to fridge so that it can hit the max of 2 pages of inventory
Cooking tool upgrade button should always glow; pulse if upgradeable
Accessibility for keyboard only players: combat in the direction of character facing, will be be a toggle option in Settings
----------------- We'll continue to work on the game, and we hope this clarifies some of your questions and makes the game better! Happy adventuring and cooking! Love, Battlebrew Productions (and Pom)
