Update 1.3 Out Later This Week

Hecaton is futuristic action rogue-like set on Titan, a terraformed moon of Saturn. Play as a Bounty Hunter and fight your way through an army of space pirates. Brave the surface of Titan and begin your descent to find the Pirate Base and your ultimate goal.

I'm in the process of testing Update 1.3 now and with any luck it will be out in a few days. Here are some highlights: [list] [*]Each character can unlock 20 new Fates, for a total of 120 new Fates across all 8 characters. [*]Characters can also no permanently increase their Stat Points. [*]Update 1.3 also completely revamps the game's difficulty level. [/list] With regards to the new difficulty, one piece of feedback I've received is that the game starts off too easy and takes several levels to get interesting. Update 1.3 hopes to address this by making earlier levels feel better to play. Enemy density has been increased across the board, and enemy damage for broadcasted attacks such as Sniper fire or Rockets has been increased. Previously enemy Damage started out too low and every character felt much too tanky, making death in level 1 basically impossible. In addition, too few enemies were spawning, resulting in too much down time in between fights. Finding the right balance in randomized spawns has been one of the more challenging aspects of the game.
