Hello again gamers!
I hope that you are enjoying family, friends, and the holidays wherever you are! On this Thanksgiving day, I spent my morning and early afternoon coding more content for this game, and streamed it all over my on twitch channel in almost a 7 hour livestream!
Here is what I added today with Update 0.45:
* You can can choose a difficulty to start each game at. "Slow & Easy" starts you off immediately on the battlefield against the shapes of war at level 1.. "Quick Start" starts you off at the upgrade room and gives you 125 Soul Shards to spend before entering the battlefield at level 5. And finally, "Instant Chaos" will start you in the upgrade room with 300 Soul Shards to upgrade Super Star Dan before entering the battles at level 10. Your choice every game on how much action you want to start your game with!

* A Luck statue was added to the upgrade room and increasing your luck gives you a higher chance on every mob killed of it dropping Soul Shards and loot chests. This can be upgraded from 0 to 20.
* A new "Soul Shard Buying" statue will offer you score points in exchange for your Soul Shards, but you have to sell all of them to get points in exchange and you also need to have a total score of at least whatever the Soul Shard Buying statue is offering you to exchange your Soul Shards for points. Keep in mind that you don't ever need to sell your Soul Shards for points, and you'll always keep any unused shards for the next time you enter the Upgrade room.

Changes made in Update 0.45:
- I made each enemy flash when they are hit by your default shot so it's easier to see when you've hit them.
- Adjusted the score value of killing a Parallelogram to about 300% of what it was worth before this update.
- Made sure the running people moved in front of the Parallelogram rather then behind it.
- Slowed down the rotation speed of the enemy triangles.
- Added over 25 new sound effects to the game.
- Made small adjustments and tweaks to several assets that I've created for this game to make it more visually pleasing.
With that, I think I've covered most of everything I added and changed in this update.
