Hello. Back for a 3rd time after launching this game just under 24 hours ago for another update.
I think I am seeing exactly why I decided to launch this game much earlier than I ever anticipated. I know myself and with my history of launching these indie games over the past seven years, I know that once I launch a game, I'll work much harder on it! It might be "bass akwards" from what should be the "right" thing to do, but at least this is a path that's getting work done on the game.
- In this update, I've cleaned up all of the text I had all over the welcome screen and made an actual "Options" screen to show what buttons do what and you can change the game volume there as well. In the future, I'll certainly be adding more options here such as controller sensitivity settings, the ability to turn Super Star Dans volume down or off, etc.
I've also started work on adding the first additional weapon that you'll be able to craft as well as adding drops for copper, silicon, and metal which will be needed to craft a wide assortment of weapons and upgrades for good ol' Dan. New weapons will also require finding blue prints as well before you'll be offered the ability to craft them at the work bench seen in the upgrade room between levels. (The upgrade room as always available from entering the green door after clearing a level)
Much more content is coming to 'Life Saver', including new enemies, new weapons, the ability to upgrade Dan's movement speed, maximum health, and a whole lot more! ...Stay tuned!
