This Tuesday, June 5th, at 13:30 CET, we will be releasing one of our biggest updates yet. Along with all the bug fixes and balance fine-tuning, the following new features/updates will be included:
A new "Pick a Village to Play In" function
With each new Character Creation the Player will get the right choose from a list of the currently opened Villages in which his/her Steam Friends are playing. The Player is also allowed to choose a random Village if he/she chooses to. Additional information will be displayed is displayed for each Village, showing which game day the Village is in, and how many Players are currently playing in it.
Important: Please note that in order to work this feature needs you to switch your Steam account to Public Mode (the default option.)
Full French and Spanish Localization
Grimmwood will now be fully playable in both French and Spanish language (you need to choose the respective language from the in-game Options menu.)
Faster and more effective “Banish a Player” procedure
• The Banish vote will no longer be "nullified" at the end of the game day (if a majority hasn't been reached); Instead, the vote will stay active until a deciding condition is met, with no time limit;
• The vote deciding conditions will be: a) a 50% + 1 player have voted; or b) at least 5 Villagers have voted and there's at least one vote more either "for" or "against" (the deciding vote).
• Once a vote has started, and there's at least 1 vote in favor, the respective Player will not be able to take any items from the Storage or craft items in the Workshop.
Perk Re-rolls are now up to 10
You said you wanted more Perk re-rolls and we heard you. This will also give the players a better chance to experience the game from a new perspective.
Use of the Rejuvenation Elixir will be restricted to one elixir per day per Villager
This is to prevent a potential misuse of the Rejuvenation Elixir either by Griefers or inexperienced Players.
