Upcoming Update Information (v0.6)

It's been a little while since the last game update, so a lot of changes are going to be bundled into this next big update! Here's a sneak peek at some of the most important changes in the upcoming v0.6 build! [b]Note: As the game is still in a pre-release state, placeholder content in cards and UI artwork is still visible[/b] [img]https://i.imgur.com/AwLIake.jpeg[/img] [h2]Stat Modifiers[/h2] When your thoughts on the "Chain Reveal" mechanic of Treasure cards were asked, your voice decided that while it was an interesting mechanic, it would be much better replaced by something simpler to understand and utilise. Stat Modifiers are that mechanic! Chain Revealing is a thing of the past, and now each Treasure card you have face-up will allow you to boost one of four stats: [list] [*][b]ATK+: [/b]Grants 1 extra Attack during Combat [*][b]DEF+: [/b]Grants 1 extra Defense during Combat [*][b]CHR+: [/b]Allows you to put 1 more Character into play [*][b]RDY+: [/b]Allows you to Ready one more card at the beginning of your turn [/list] [img]https://i.imgur.com/S9IS5MN.png[/img] Stat Modifiers for each player can be found in the left-hand corners of the screen next to a player's profile. Some minor rebalancing has been done to cards as a result of this major change. [img]https://i.imgur.com/FVOpTul.png[/img] [h2]Events[/h2] Regular events are to be trialled in the game to create a 'hotspot' period of the week where more players are online & active, while rewarding players handsomely for their participation! [b]Ranked Challenge[/b] is the first such event. During the weekend (Saturday morning through Monday morning), players will be challenged to earn as many Ranked Points from participating in games (including games against real users and bots if matchmaking is empty), and the players who earn the most Ranked Points will be rewarded with great Ranked Challenge exclusive prizes! [img]https://i.imgur.com/WZ2NHja.jpeg[/img] [i](displayed users were randomly selected for display purposes)[/i] [h2]Rewards Pass[/h2] Allowing players to earn as much content as possible through gameplay is important to the design values of AT:TCG. The Rewards Pass allows players more opportunities to earn more prizes, offering a unique selection of Challenges to complete for special prizes, and greater rewards for levelling up through natural gameplay! Initially, the Rewards Pass will only be available as a high-level reward in the game, but the intention is to have this be primarily a paid item once the mechanic is solidified, it has received final art, and once it has been determined to be of sufficient value for players.
