Hello, Maelstrom Community! Forthright Entertainment is thrilled to partner with the Ultimate Endgamer's League (UEL) for their highly anticipated Season 9 Wheel of 30 Games. Maelstrom will be featured as a key title in this season's lineup, offering players an intense and strategic naval warfare experience. UEL and Forthright Entertainment will collaborate to bring Maelstrom into the competitive spotlight, with UEL players battling it out in the game during the season. As a start to their season next week, and in conjunction with Forthright starting to re-engage the community we are announcing two key pieces. [b]Weekend Tournament Announcement[/b] [*] Kicking off the collaboration, a special Maelstrom weekend tournament will take place from Friday, August 23rd, to Sunday, August 25th, from 7:00 PM to Midnight EST each day. Hosted on the UEL Discord, this event will see UEL players aiming to take out all players ships, while the community strives to sink as many UEL player ships as possible. UEL players will include "UEL" before their gamer tag, so our community knows when the have sunk a player. Community participants should take screenshots when they sink a UEL player's ship and share them on social media with the hashtag #MaelstromUELSink and their own name in Maelstrom and players will be rewarded 3,000 extra gold for each UEL ship they sink. [b]Community Gaming Nights[/b] [*] To celebrate this partnership and the excitement around Maelstrom, Forthright Entertainment and UEL will host a community gaming night every Tuesday from 7:00 PM to Midnight EST. UEL players will join the community each week until the end of Season 9 in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for players to test their skills against some of the best UEL competitors and engage with the broader Maelstrom community.
