As we wanted to make it possible for 4 players to be able to play on the same keyboard (even without any controllers), we needed to take a slightly different approach of how the player's input are implemented in other games. This brought us countless problems that we did not expect. On one hand, we had feedback from several players who were having problems with the standard configuration (4 players with 4 controllers) or when trying to play via Remote Play. On the other hand, we had players crazy enough to have fun with our proposal of 4 players on the same keyboard since the beginning, so taking that out was not an option. We were not willing to let any of the audiences down. After many interactions, we believe we have arrived at a solution to maintain the 2 proposals simultaneously. Please, if you ever got any problem with 4 controllers and/or Remote Play Together, consider giving it another try!
