Tanto Cuore - July '23

Tanto Cuore

Tanto Cuore is a Japanese deck-building card game where you employ maids to serve you!

Happy July! 1.2.0 r2 - New Language! Chinese is now an option - increased the maximum "card speed" setting to allow for faster AI turns - fixed an issue where a player could select incompatible types of cards for Estates - fixed an issue where selection of a card for an Estate could cause errors - moved even more code around to prepare for updating the multiplayer service Happy February '23! It's been a while! 1.1.5 r2 - Fixed an issue where AI was hyper-aggressive with Eugenie Fontaine - Upgraded to a newer version of Unity - Making preparations to move multiplayer to a new service ------ Happy March '22! 1.1.4 r11 Bug Fix - Fixed an issue with Chiffon where her VP would only count Blue (General) maids, she now includes Colette and Aline (Green Chambermaids) in her score calculation Tweaks - Added a "Sets" title to the new randomizer options when Expanding the House and/or the Promo Pack are owned to make it easier on the eyes - Quick play will now allow AI (CPU) players to be maids from Expanding the House if it's owned 1.1.4 r10 New Feature - You can now change some settings for random towns - Events can be On/Off/Random - Buildings can also be On/Off/Random (Expanding the House required) - You may disable Promo Pack - You can choose to include the base game and/or Expanding the House (it will default to enabling the base game if Expanding the House is disabled) 1.1.4 r7 Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where offer cards might randomly have hand UI ("CHAMBER" banner) on them in subsequent games - Catherine will no longer let you try to target players with no Private Maids - Catherine will no longer prompt unless her ability can be used Tweaks - "Exchange" dropdowns will now happen when using Eugenie's ability - Added ability to cancel Catherine's ability on player select prompt 1.1.4 r6 Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue that could arise when trying to generate a random town that has no events - Fixed an issue where AI players could heal multiple times with a single Wina Tweaks - Updated order for initializing Steamworks when the game launches - Added error message if Steamworks fails to initialize - Localized some more game logs - Updated Wina text to make it more clear she must be discarded from your Private Quarters to remove an event 1.1.4 r5 - Updated Steamworks and networking integration - found and fixed soft lock and host issues from last week prior to the version rollback - Updated Japanese font to allow for dynamic character creation - Eased the difficulty on early levels in the mansion (difficulty settings for quickplay coming soon!) - Varied the voices of the Private Maids that have special sayings for everyone's sanity. "Rosa Topaz, at your service!" Rolled back to 1.1.3 r4 - Updated networking code in 1.1.4 r2 brought back the errant disconnects in multiplayer games, currently investigating 1.1.3 r4 May have found the root of an issue where initial trouble connecting to Steam would cause DLC to be inaccessible. 1.1.3 r3 Tweaks - Added a minigame to the mansions, can you find it? - Updated AI decisions to help handle Compy Sisters - Updated the AI's decisions in regards to Bad Habits 1.1.3 r1 Bug Fix - Fixed an issue where Domino's prompt could happen during another player's turn in a multiplayer game 1.1.3 r0 - Enabled Promo Pack content! 1.1.2 r38 Tweak - Ririko now provides an additional Love instead of an additional Serving 1.1.2 r37 Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where Cecilia and Chiffon's end-game totals weren't reflected in the end game breakdown (the scores were still correct) - Fixed an issue where Ignis Carpenter's ability would trigger even with Illness 1.1.2 r36 Bug Fixes - Randomly generated towns will now actually pull from your unlocked cards when generating a Town - Alternate card art unlocks now fire for Expanding the House - Only Maid Chiefs are now selectable in Felicity Horn's prompt (instead of any card with a chambermaid cost) - Fixed an issue where a card's pulsing highlighted state might not be reset and appear highlighted in unexpected places - Fixed an issue where the AI might "soft lock" on Rutile der Sar, but could be forced to continue by opening and closing a menu AI - The AI would consider buildings a reason why it would want to try to use Event cards on a player even though it is an invalid play, it shouldn't try to do this any more - There was a state where the AI could try to act as if it had more Love than it actually did and try to make decisions as if it could afford a 3 Love card or higher cost. This would cause some "interesting" decisions - The AI found a way to play an Event card on a building, this should no longer happen Tweaks - A card that is targeted by Annet Thane will now have an indicator in the Private Quarters at the end of a game - Changed some level unlock information on map 1 to account for the confusing branching path - Found some images that were very large and could be sized down to save some memory I've realized that in my attempt to be transparent about what's happening I've been posting a change log for every little thing someone reports (and this fills up event displays! Sorry about that!) Moving forward I'll update a single change log (like this one) if someone reports a critical issue during the day. I may also go back an consolidate some older patch notes into a single, more sane, list of patch notes.
