[h1][b]WHAT IS THE TWITCH INTEGRATION?[/b][/h1] Sky Caravan's Twitch integration connects the game directly to a Twitch chat, allowing viewers to vote on choices and decide where the story will go. [h3][b]STARTUP[/b][/h3] [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41523834/f5ccb01552dcef526db5a62550d92f327f7ee1f1.jpg[/img] - On Sky Caravan's main menu (or, alternatively, the pause menu), go to [u]Options[/u], then mark the checkbox labeled [u]Twitch Integration[/u]. - A new tab should appear on the Options menu, titled [u]Stream Settings[/u]. [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41523834/debf5618341e5396d09f4f9a3d92bf75974ef9fd.jpg[/img] - On that tab, [u]fill the first blank with your Twitch username[/u]. This is the profile you will use to join the chat. This is the name of your Twitch account itself, not your email. It is also recommended that you use the username of a secondary account instead of your main one. While we used the official Twitch API, it is the best way to guarantee your safety, just in case. - The [u]second blank should be filled with the name of the channel whose chat will be accessed[/u]. This is the channel your viewers will use to vote for their reaction of choice. - The [u]third and final blank should be filled with an official OAuth token[/u], which can be obtained by accessing the following link (https://twitchapps.com/tmi/) and allowing the site to access your Twitch channel. If the light on the button's right side turns green and the text says "Online" you should be good to go! Otherwise, an error message should appear. Check our FAQ section for possible solutions. [h3][b]STARTING A VOTE[/b][/h3] - [i]IMPORTANT:[/i] Voting only works after the tutorial is over, during the first delivery. You'll know when it's started when its title (The Fifth Passenger) appears onscreen. Otherwise, voting works for every choice in the demo. The game will keep count of how many votes each option has and how much time is left. The commands need to be typed exactly as above. [h3][b]FAQ[/b][/h3] - Is the Twitch Integration safe? R. Yes. We do not get access to the token at any time, it appears masked in the game screen and is stored only locally on your computer (located on user\AppData\LocalLow\Studio Bravarda\Sky Caravan and named TwitchIntegrationConfig.skc). We only send this token to the twitch API. It is not sent to our server. We, nor anyone else, can access your Twitch account using this token. The only reason we suggest using an alternate username in the Stream Settings is in the event your computer itself is somehow compromised by a third party, so they wouldn't have access to that data. The only things the Token allows Sky Caravan to do is to read the chat's messages and to send messages back (as if it were a regular Twitch Bot). - Is the OAuth Token generation safe? R. Yes. This site is recommended by Twitch developers' guide (https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/irc/guide), so it is safe. - Can the Twitch Integration play the game by itself (like Twitch Plays)? R. No. The Integration allows viewers to play, but it still requires the streamer to initiate voting and play through non-choice sections. - Do I need both side panels to be active for the vote to work? R. No. The panels can be retracted at any time - though you'll still have to open the left panel so you can start the vote.
