I’m a student, so I go out partying with my friends, just enjoying life! However, therein lies a paradox, since every night, some of us, including me, are gambling with life and therefore also death. Now I realize that there are two sides to alcohol. The first is the one we all know, the good friend, always game, relaxing, and comforting. It gives you the courage to socialize and try things that you’d never have the guts to do. But recently I also got to know its other side, a much less attractive one. Because it makes you suffer in return gives you headaches and makes you sick. It can even wipe your memory, make you hella sad, or even violent. While it’s fun in the beginning, over time it damages your body as well as your social relationships, in some cases. That’s not what friends do. I fell into the trap, of accepting that dark friend into my circle of trust could have killed me. They told me that the ambulance got there very quickly despite the heavy Friday night traffic.
