Hi again!
It’s been an intense weekend! We want to thank everyone who gave Anthology of Fear a chance. Your positive opinions warmed our hearts though we appreciate and are grateful for the constructive feedback which enables continuous improvement of the overall experience. We have told this story the way we wanted to, although there are still some parts we are still implementing. We will be addressing the below as quickly as we can.
We’re prioritizing the major issues raised. Firstly, the price. We’ve heard your feedback about price/playtime ratio and we will be adding additional content to the game.
A thing which concerned many of you was the interaction system. There will soon be an option to switch between simplified and original interaction mode. Now it will be the left mouse button.
When it comes to the save system, we are working on adding the option to load the unlocked chapters.
A patch regarding those issues – as well as some minor fixes – will be uploaded near the end of this week. We hope those changes will make your experience with AoF even more pleasant.
Lastly - as it comes to the ending: Ethan’s story has indeed ended, and we finished it the way we intended this story to unfold. However, there will be an opportunity to experience more tapes from the Morpheus Medical Center in the near future.
In a couple of days we will also add achievements to the game, and we are also planning some extras.
Stay tuned!
