Hi there!
Let’s celebrate the spooky season together, during this year’s Scream Fest. We are proud to have our demo displayed among other great horror titles and happy to see fellow indie developers sharing their progress.
We’ve been working hard on AoF since the Next Fest. It’s great to see more and more people recording their playthroughs, many of whom found us on itch.io. We want you to know that we’re listening and appreciating your guys’ feedback and we will be updating the demo as we work on the full version of the game. There are a few major updates coming your way, but for the Halloween event we focused on fixing more urgent issues to make the demo more enjoyable. Those include:

Fixing triggers on doors

Increasing the range of gamma slider

Minor fixes for guiding players through the map

Adding a few new interactions and events on the level

Fixing cutscene audio levels

Optimizing interaction with doors

Updating HDRP to optimize the game
There are some minor known issues, though:

Updating HDRP glitched reflections and textures on a few meshes

The game can freeze for a second when loading new events

The clothes are not yet perfectly fitted to certain… characters
To celebrate the Halloween event we have also modified the scenes just a little bit; the changes are not in the game yet, but they will be added in tomorrow’s update! It’s only cosmetic, but we wanted to add some spooky vibes to the environment.
As always, we welcome your feedback. The release date is coming quickly, and our team is quite small, but we will do what we can to make the game more fun to play.
Have fun during this Halloween!
