Up until now, maps have been simple tree nodes with lines connecting them, but now they'll be tiled, allowing for more selective and strategic exploration. Whereas before you were simply deciding which way to go, and eventually deciding to either evade or take down all the enemies you encountered along the way at the whim of luck, now you'll be able to be more selective in your expeditions thanks to the wider paths. This greatly reduces combat fatigue, as most of the battles are handpicked. Also, whereas previously you had to kill all enemies or suffer a significant loss in experience, starting with the next update, the pressure to grind early on has been reduced, as both the experience requirement and the experience gained increases dramatically in the later stages of the game. The lack of income from avoiding many battles will be compensated for by the silver mine, which has been changed to provide more than three times the previous daily income. There is a new "?" sector where random events or unexpected battles occur. These random events can lead to big gains or big losses depending on your decisions. You can also choose a more aggressive strategy, such as taking current losses and pursuing future gains. There's a new map feature that wasn't available in the previous environment due to structural limitations, and the UI is now richer than before. The next update is expected around March 15th!
