Just making a quick post to let you know that we've just put live an experimental preview branch of Patch 1.7!
Originally we were hoping to put Patch 1.7 live tomorrow, but due to the scope of the patch we've decided to take a few more days to just give it some extra QA love our side - Just to be safe!
Having said that we know a lot of these changes are much anticipated by the community, so we wanted to give you the opportunity to opt in early and play it now if you'd like to.
[h1]What's in the preview branch & how to access it![/h1]
We aren't sharing the full patch notes today as some bits may change slightly as we continue testing, but here's some information we can share about what's in 1.7 / the preview branch:

[*]Made all players online able to use the subscreens (inventory, etc) at once
[*]Added reaper health absorption. Every 40 energy from fallen enemies absorbed returns 1% of the players health.
[*]Made 50% of enemies killed from an arrow by the Ranger class drop an arrow
[*]Fixed general overworld desync issues after finishing a dungeon or sleeping with a farm in the village due to farm data becoming out of sync
[*]Fixed the red rock barriers not allowing the slab to move after being destroyed

To access the preview branch just follow these simple steps:

[*]Go to your Steam Library
[*]Right click Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos
[*]Click Properties
[*]Select Betas
[*]Using the dropdown select 'Branch: v1.073_experimental - Experimental Rogue Heroes Patch 1.7 Version'
[*]Let the game update
[*]Get playing!

We've also got some useful information when it comes to playing on this branch:

[*]Yes, your save data will carry both to and from this branch.
[*]There is no risk to your save data.
[*]For online multiplayer make sure you're all on the same branch.
[*]This branch will be removed when Patch 1.7 drops, returning you to the main branch automatically.
[*]This branch is experimental and as such you may run into unexpected bugs.

All going well Patch 1.7 will be ready to rock early next week. In the meantime this offers a solution to those who are either stuck due to a progression bug, or just want an early hands-on with the fixes and changes that are on the horizon!
