This patch was mostly about balancing the resources found on planets. Prior to the patch, finding iron was very hard. And since it is the first metal that can be processed into repair armor, we made it MUCH more common to find. It can now be found on over half of the planets. You will only see the changes when starting a new game. Any saved game will have the older planet data. We also added a message when starting a new game using the Rogue Officers DLC that reminds players to upgrade their Transport Stat to increase the away team size, since entering your first star system always results in a 'Heavily Damaged Ship Encounter'. And this can be very difficult with an away team size of just 1.
