Patch 0.9 Release

[h1] Patch 0.9 [/h1] Welcome to the next update for Robot Revolt, patch 0.9. Originally intended as two seperate patches, a halloween update was rolled together with a feature update. We hope you enjoy! Our next patch (Coming Soon TM) will focus on reworking items and weapons, including added new ones. We feel like the game is finally getting close to a solid base from which to expand upon. [h2]Highlights[/h2] - new map progression added (final, we promise!) - added difficulty, first 5 are available, more coming in further patches - reworked unlock system (for example the market is something you unlock) - new biome - attributes are rebalanced, simpler to understand but stronger - added new transition screen - added screenshake (can soon be disabled in options) - knockback reworked, should be much more reliable now - added new sound tracks and removed some old ones [h2]New Map Progression: Portals[/h2] Above certain difficulty levels, you must use portals to advance Portals show the location (biome) - each biome now has their own mostly unique enemies Portals also have boons and banes, powerful rewards and penalties, choose wisely! Each vehicle now starts in their own starting biome [h2]Enemies[/h2] Added enemies: [list] [*] monowheel soldier [*] centaur [*] sidecart soldiers [*] cactus [*] cactus dynamite [*] chickens on brooms [*] exploding pumpkins [*] The Coffin [/list] - each biome has it's own variant of the starter enemy - enemy bullets are now rendered on top for more visibility - elite specialists now deploy heavy towers - enemies will now spread out more - loot goblin will now drop credits when shot - loot goblin now drops a lot of credits on death, instead of a chest - enemies respawn rather than die when out of bounds - fixed shadows not updating correctly (when flying/knocked back) - fixed 1 member in groups moving faster [h2]GUI[/h2] - When enabled, healthbars only appear when enemies have taken damage - nearby indicator no longer stuck on screen - all menu back buttons are improved - credits back button fixed - reworked unlock gui since shop was removed - unlock gui now shows how many unlocks you have [h2]Weapons[/h2] - fixed swarm rockets not despawning correctly (performance) - fixed muzzle flashes not despawning correctly (performance) - shotgun deals more damage to targets up close [h2]Items[/h2] - rebalanced Recycler - renamed Mountain to Armor Plates - Scythes assigned correct icon
