New Feature: Extras Menu!

[previewyoutube=mnZo8quRT64;full][/previewyoutube] Hello everyone! Sorry it's been so long since our last update. We've been very busy. Today, we're showing off the Extras Menu! The Extras Menu has a lot of game modes and utilities. We'll be going over all of them in this post, though the video will give you a visual demonstration! Shop & Equip: Shop & Equip are usually accessible through the story mode. You encounter Alex to open the shop, and you can pause the game to equip new items. However, this is no way to access them outside of this. You can now access them through the Extras Menu. We originally wanted to add this in, but we didn't have time to add in an extras menu that had anything other than these 2 utilities. Menu Config: This is our second most proud feature. You can fully customize the Battle Menu! Sometimes refereed to as your deck. You can change the order of your abilities or you can catalog them (meaning you can delete it from your deck and save it for later). This won't be that useful until we add in more abilities into the game. Even after we release episode 12, we still plan on adding in new abilities since we want to keep expanding the game with new DLC episodes. Although that's not going to be for a while from now. Speaking of which... Skill Tree: This has yet to be added into the game. It'll function less like a literal skill tree and more like a skills shop. This will allow you to unlock new abilities for Echo and Karma. Abilities such as Echo's Team Heal & Prism ability, or Karma's Vampire’s Mark & Love of the Phoenix. Unfortunately, we have to remove Echo's Team Heal and Karma's Passion Drain since they were originally meant to be unlockable via the skill tree. The Skill Tree will be added into the next update, along side 2 of the missing items. This is due to the fact that our current animator isn't great with VFX, so we have to wait until after we've obtained more money until we can add them into the game. Once we have the money for VFX, all abilities will be added into the game at once. Arena Mode: This will let you fight any of the main enemies in the game. Keep in mind, this only lets you fight the Bug enemies, and not enemies like the Pirate Crew or Skull Crushers. You can choose which enemies you do or don't want to add into the Arena. You'll then fight 10 random waves of enemies and earn Junk points regardless of if you win or lose. You're also allowed to pick from a select few backgrounds when completing new episodes! All of these enemies are avaiable from the start of the game. In the future, when we add in DLC episodes, we'll be adding in new types into this mode as well. When new seasons of DLC come out, all of the main enemies from that season will be fightable before the first episode of that season, and will not require any purchase. Boss Rush: This is the mode we are MOST proud of... A fully customizable boss rush! You can choose how many enemies you fight, which enemies you fight, and in what order. You can even refight a single boss, without having to go back through a whole episode. These bosses are the exact same as they were before, but you won't have the ability to change your equipped items or bought items before any new round, so fully prepare yourself before you engage. Each fight will fully reset after every round, so you won't keep negative or positive things from the previous fight. You can only access this mode if you complete the first 12 episodes. Sorry if that was a lot to read, and thank you if you made it this far! We hope to give you another update soon.
