Hello! Welcome to New Day: Early Access! We here at Scrapbook Studios know that a lot of you have been waiting for the release of New Day, and we're pleased to bring it to you! Before I begin, I'd like to say a few things: New Day is very near and dear to my heart. It holds a special place that I cannot describe. It started as a small project in 2022 to see if I was capable of creating something similar to Tomodachi Life. And in 2023, it was scrapped and recreated from the ground-up with new programming, soundtracks, and more. The previous version of the game felt too much like Tomodachi Life and we wanted to make this project our own thing to try and stray away from that viewpoint as a whole. Obviously, we're still deemed within the same genre, but in its entirety, New Day is its own unique experience. That being said, Early Access is released, and it doesn't contain as much content as I wanted it to have. I struggled to keep motivated in 2024 and it shows... A LOT! I went on a 3 month burnout spree that resulted in nothing getting done in the 2nd half of the year. Only at the end of 2024, in November, did I find a perfect routine to help prevent burnout but also allowed me to work on the game even more! I'm really excited about some upcoming features scheduled for 2025, and we think you will be too! Some crucial key components are currently missing from the game, such as Hunger, most buildings, lack of objects in The Room Editor, etc... we're currently working our hardest to get everything done as soon as possible.
