Midnight Horde is a gothic horror parkour action game with rogue-lite elements where you battle thousands of enemies. Upgrade weapons, fortify castles and towns to keep darkness at bay.

I have been hard at work this year making the game feel good and fresh!
Hopefully I will have a demo ready to share soon!
In the meantime I want to take the time to share two new enemies I am working on.
One cool thing to me is that I am doing a lot of the animations inside the shaders, both idle and "locomotion" wise.
1. Explosion boi, is the stereotypical get close explode sort of baneling. Which I find very satisfying and scary in most games.

2. Next up is long long boi, I have not yet decided all of his features but I am thinking his arms could come for you faster than his movement speed. Giving you a little jump scare.

I have also been working on making buildings more important to the game.

I feel like I should be sharing more of my development here, so if there is something you are interested in getting a look behind the scenes at, I am all ears.
