Life Update & Game Direction: More Parkour, More Focus!

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a little life update! I recently got a job (IT-support), which is great news, but it also means that progress on Roman Legacy: Speed Trials is going to slow down. That said, I’m still working on it, and a new version with a different, more parkour-focused gameplay style is coming soon, without the weapon, but the abilities stay—possibly this month, but definitely by next! With this new direction, I’m also making a big change—the weapon is being removed to put full focus on parkour and movement. However, the abilities will stay, so there will still be mechanics beyond just running and jumping. I’ve been leaning more and more into a Mirror’s Edge-like experience, really focusing on movement and parkour, while having a story. Even though things might take longer, I’m excited about where this is heading and can’t wait to share more with you all. I believe that this is a right way to go. What are some of your favorite parkour mechanics in games? Anything you’d love to see in a first-person parkour platformer? Thanks for sticking around, and I really appreciate all the support!
