Previously we only had models for Oculus Rift, Quest, HTC Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality controllers and for any other headsets we would show the Oculus Quest Touch controllers. Since OpenVR (which we use for supporting many different VR headsets) provides more general support for displaying the correct controller models we've started utilizing that in RealFit. In particular we hope this will improve the experience for Valve Index users who should now see a model of the Knuckles controllers. This update also includes some incremental changes to the energy lines and the power meter. There are now three energy lines instead of four which generally correspond to head and hand movements and the hand movement should now be clearer than it was before. The power bar on the right no longer looks like a battery to avoid setting any expectation that it charges up slowly over time. The power meter aims to give some live feedback about how much energy you are currently using, so if you do jumping jacks with a lot of effort it should go up and when you rest it should drop down. There are more changes planned for this feature but hopefully this change is a small improvement over the first version we released. We'd love to hear feedback about these changes, especially from anyone with a Valve Index to confirm that RealFit is functioning smoothly for them.
