This is a major update with improvements to nearly every aspect of the game, however there are likely to be game-breaking bugs!
[b]Some highlights:[/b]
• Renamed the game to avoid a potential trademark issue.
• Added Chef Shop so you can choose which tools and ingredients you want to unlock.
• Added "Quantum Separator" tool.
• Gravi-tongs now show an outline to make it clearer what they will grab.
• Flipper can now easily gather and carry multiple pieces of food.
• Redesigned Particulator, now homogenizes food.
• Improved Food Vacuum now shows fill progress, and layers particles according to the order in which they were vacuumed.
• Liquids can finally resolidify, i.e. when something melts and then cools back down.
• Most liquid-related mechanics have been reworked including washing, dissolving, juicing, melting, reducing, and even how liquids are rendered.
• All ingredients have been updated with new properties.
• Pantry and Recipe Planner now show ingredient ambition score and category.
• Completely revamped judging and scoring to enable new kinds of criteria.
• Changed some challenges.
• Numerous bugfixes
[b]Known issues[/b]
• NPCs perform terribly; this will be fixed in the next update.
• Judges don't currently score the ambition of your dish; it's too easy to win with simple dishes. This will be fixed in the next update.
• Many ingredients behave unrealistically and will be improved in the next update.
• Hidden judge preferences have been temporarily removed.
• Music will likely get repetitive; more tracks are coming in the next update.
• Heat exchange still needs work.
• There may be an issue with music volume adjustment.
• At least one bug in the Recipe Planner may cause incorrect simulations.
• Mice with high polling rates (i.e. some gaming mice) sometimes cause significant framerate drops. Rebooting your computer may fix the issue, but the cause is still not fully understood.
