First Time: DownTime

I've never done this where I said a patch needs downtime. I just got hacked by a SSD destroyer as many have recently. I didn't lose data or a backup, but pushing this update is incredibly difficult because my patch drive is disabled. I've been moving houses and it's just wild how little resources I have now + how much work I need to do to get basic things done. To top it off, I'm developing mostly airgapped since of some unstable events in the realm of cybersecurity. Rest assured, this patch is pretty cool, and once I get my workflow, we patch as often as possible, even bi-weekly if possible. Right now Starfighter General is down, hopefully up within a few hours, this is chaos over here. Just admitting it brings me some peace. You have no idea how difficult it is being an indie dev, but we're the guys who raise the bar so the gaming community has better product and culture. ,Jim
