Mythology is an endless source of inspiration and material. We have used many concepts from Finnish folklore, like Lempo itself, but have not been afraid to put our own spin on things. Lempo is not a lesson on Finnish mythology but has taken a lot of ideas from it. We have mixed up different time periods and cultures and styles into one mysterious, interesting, and unique adventure. It's not hard to see during these cold and short winter days why darkness and gloominess are present in the Finnish way of thinking and living, and an integral part of the mythology of the north.
