A strategy game set in the 18th century Caribbean recreating clashes between the empires of the time. Manage resources and armies via three integrated game layers; a strategic overworld for logistics; city building for production and tactical battles to conquer your enemies.
Thanks to all who bought the game and for the intial feedback we've received. This update is meant to address some of the suggestions made by the community these first few weeks. Here are the patch notes.
Improved Camera controls
- Added smooth rotation with Q and E instead of fixed rotation angles (this also works when using unit cam)
- Added additional zoom controls: Hold shift key + mouse wheel to adjust camera FOV (a lot of people requested increased zoom levels, we hope you enjoy this option)
- Added Mouse edge scrolling
- Tactical view hotkey: Press T on the keyboard to switch between any zoom level and tactical view
- Improved auto routes system
Previously you had to click select home city, then click on the city you wanted and do the same for the target city to establish your routes. Now a list with all the cities and towns you own will appear on the same menu you create your auto route for easy management in the same screen.
Other stuff
- Added background music to city building mode
- Added link to Development Survey in main menu
- Added Credits button in main menu
- Fixed a transparency bug in Slipway building
- Adjusted UI numbers size in trade screen
Starting a new game of sandbox mode is generally recommended after every update.
We hope that you continue to enjoy the game and don't forget to vote on the next features as this will be our guide for the development of the game.
