Hello everyone. We are very excited to show you the upcoming updates we have been working on, where we will address some suggestions from our community and add some new cool features to the sandbox mode and city building gameplay. [b]OVERWORLD UPDATE[/b] First off, one of the main things people have been requesting was to be able to control multiple armies and fleets. We have added this into the game now and integrated it into the unlocks available from the government screen. So now you will be able to have up to 4 armies and 4 fleets if you have the requirements. You can also use the army and fleet buttons to switch between your available units. The first of these are direct attacks by land or by sea. Take into account that this is different from the regular attacks that could happen from emergent gameplay. We hope this addresses what some players perceived as the game being too peaceful. These events will keep you on your toes. Be ready to have your cities garrisoned. Also, in this update AI cities will not only launch land patrols but also direct land attacks to enemy cities, including yours. So you will be seeing more conflict and more changes to the Overworld as the empires conquer or lose cities. Lastly, Another suggestion from our community, we are including a new option when you start a sandbox game. You can now choose to start in a random city from your empire. Be careful as some cities can have tricky starting conditions. Including less access to starting resources. Making you rely more on trading than in exploiting your domain. Further down the line... [b]THE WORKERS UPDATE[/b] We are improving the worker system. To add more customization and character to each worker. They will develop skills while working on a production facility. As they level up their skill, they specialize in that profession and increase the production of that building. You will have to be careful of what type of worker you use for each facility and if you want to increase the efficiency of certain facility, move them there. We are introducing a series of stats that will affect your city's performance. Security, religion, entertainment, health. You will have to carefully place certain buildings within a distance of housing buildings so that they cover their basic needs. We hope to incentivize players to plan out their cities and be more strategical in the placement of buildings. Almost like a puzzle game. If your city overall happiness is low. Be prepared to meet resistance and rebellion.
