We want to make sure the game is free of game breaking issues before we fully release the Enhanced Edition and therefore we release it as a preview build. Not all features are 100% completed at this time (for example does the new menu system not support controller imput right now). You are free to test the new version with all it's new content and please, provide feedback and report issues in the comments or the community hub.
