Dustland Delivery v1.20.645 Update (Fishing System Redesign)

Dustland Delivery

Dustland Delivery is a post-apocalyptic survival business simulator. Scour the wastes for profit, complete missions to grow your trading empire, and assemble a rag-tag band of adventurers to turn your city into the capital of the Dustlands. Danger lurks around every corner—but no risk, no reward!

Hello Dustlanders! With the newest update, we have redesigned the existing fishing system.
Entering the Fishing System
When your truck is located near a river, you can choose either [Fish] or [Quick Catch]. Choosing [Quick Catch] will advance time, add to your Crew's Fatigue, and grant you fish depending on your Crew Fishing stat. Choosing [Fish] will enter the new fishing system.
Gameplay
Casting/Retrieving Your Line Click [Cast Line] to start fishing. After a moment's wait, you may be able to hook a fish. You can also choose [Put Away Rod] to stop fishing. Catching Fish After a moment's wait, you may be able to hook a fish, shrimp, or other aquatic creature. You might also unwittingly dredge up a piece of trash. Once you've hooked a fish, it will begin to struggle. This is expressed through the "Struggle" and "Strength" bars. Different fish have different Strength values, and the Struggle meter will fill up gradually over time. Once the Struggle meter reaches the maximum, the fish will try to escape your lure, depending on its current Strength. Of course, the rivers of the Dustlands are home to many other strange things too. If you hook a piece of trash, it won't struggle. But as it will be heavier than a fish, it will move by a shorter distance when you try to reel it in. Reeling in Your Catch Clicking [Reel In] will have the following effects: a. Your lure will move toward your rod (i.e. to the left). b. Any items you hook will move toward your rod (but by a shorter distance than the lure). Each time you click [Reel In], your lure will move toward you by a small distance, as will any item you may have hooked, depending on its attributes. If the distance between your lure and the item you hooked exceeds a certain value, the line will snap, and your catch will escape. If you have hooked a fish, its Strength meter will be reduced each time you reel it in. When its Strength reaches 0, it will stop struggling for a moment until its Strength recovers again. Each time a fish's Strength is exhausted, this will reduce the maximum limit of the Struggle meter. In other words, the more times you exhaust a fish's Strength, the weaker it becomes. Stamina A character's Stamina is determined by their Fitness stat. Fishing costs Stamina. Once a character has exhausted their Stamina, they can no longer continue fishing.
Results and Rewards
Success If you can successfully pull your lure to the left hand side of the progress bar without your line snapping, you will retrieve your catch. If you hooked a live animal, you will receive it as a reward. If you hooked trash, you will receive materials such as Pig Iron or Leather. Failure If the distance between your lure and the fish becomes too large and causes your line to snap, or the fish reaches the right hand side of the meter, you will fail. The character who is currently fishing will receive an increase to their Fishing stat. Results Whether you succeed or fail, all characters who take part in fishing reduce their Stress and increase their Fatigue according to how much Stamina they consume. If a character takes part in fishing but does not consume any Stamina, then their Stress and Fatigue will stay the same. We've also made the following changes: 1. Added the ability to drop all Inedible Food at once. 2. Fixed display errors in the main interface. Thanks once again for your support!
