Today I want to share the game director, Dimas Novan’s favorite character in A Space for the Unbound, and a glimpse of the process in the character design. It might be obvious to you that Dimas’ favorite character is Raya. At first, I assumed it was because Raya is a female protagonist with supernatural power. But, when I asked him why, he quickly answered, “The game itself exists because of Raya. The world, the story, and every detail are built around her.” When A Space for the Unbound started seven years ago, Raya was initially designed to be more valiant and menacing, compared to the final design we see today. Then Dimas decided to design Raya as someone mysterious because in the game story, she’s trying to hide her supernatural power. How about you, Space Divers? Which character that tickles your curiosity? You can see more characters of A Space for the Unbound from our newest trailer.
