Dear Contestants, We're excited to announce that our major July update (v0.7) has been released! To give you a clearer picture of what to expect, we've broken down the key updates into sections, just like in our previous developer logs.

New Character: Rose
Assistant
Tour Match Mode
Other Updates

New Character - Rose
As you might have already spotted the new character in-game. A file mentioned Mirage Media's announcement of a new, sweet-looking rookie rock singer to be launched soon. Let’s learn more about the character's personality and story in-game! Rose's signature weapon is a long spear styled like an electric guitar. Her normal attacks are a five-hit combo that builds up to two charges. Spend one charge for a quick two-hit thrust, or spend both for a powerful three-hit sweep. Rose's heavy attack packs a punch with four hits and grants a normal attack charge on hit. It also charges up, allowing for powerful combos. Her ultimate is a rapid 11-hit combo, and her dodge can be charged for extra mobility. Charging is key to maximizing her damage and versatility.
Assistant
You might have heard Match Assistant, one of the Drivers once in game back in the old days. After being built in-game, the accompanying small robot would fire tracking missiles at enemies, causing AoE damage, slowing them down, or speeding up/healing players. However, we soon realized that as an in-game roguelike element, it had limitations such as insufficient synergy with other Drives and slightly weaker overall performance. Therefore, we've decided to phase it out for now and introduce a new sponsor, "Mirage Media" - the [Clone Stream] - to take its place. Players have always enjoyed the companionship of "pets" in different games. To keep the beloved “Match Assistant” in the game, we've turned it into a pretty unique feature. This not only enhances the assistant's role but also provides players with more strategic options for in-battle Drive selection. There are currently three types of the Match Assistant, each providing different battle assistance: Pioneer (offensive), Guard (defensive), and Nurse (healing). The Pioneer's core skill is firing tracking missiles at enemies every few seconds, dealing tech damage. The Nurse continuously heals all friendly units in the vicinity. The Guard can taunt all nearby enemies for a certain duration, but will cancel the taunt prematurely if its health reaches zero. Match Assistants can be upgraded through an in-game "Support System." During battles, as players build their abilities by selecting Drives, Relics, and other elements, they earn a certain amount of Match Assistant experience. Each level-up grants a talent point that can be used to unlock nodes in the Assistant's talent tree, significantly boosting its abilities. It's important to note that the talent tree resets after each battle, allowing players to experiment with different talent builds in subsequent battles. Outside of battles, players can enhance their Match Assistant by obtaining star-up items for their specific model, which can be earned through the Tour Match. Additionally, players can install and upgrade chips to boost the Assistant's attributes. Chips provide extra abilities for the Assistant and start with a single slot. More slots can be unlocked by consuming Micro Components, with a maximum of four. Chips can also be upgraded using Micro Components to gain more powerful effects. Micro Components can also be used to reset chips, allowing players to reroll for more desirable effects. To streamline this process, "Lock" and "Direct" items can be used to more efficiently enhance chip abilities. You can team up with friends to conquer these levels together or challenge yourself in solo play and try to set new records. We've added Shops and Fusion Drive Consoles to each stage, making it easier for you to purchase and combine Drives. Additionally, upon completing specific objectives within each room, you'll be rewarded with treasure chests. These chests contain various rewards for you to choose from. The Tour Match features several different room types, including: Battle Room: Enemies, both normal ones and elites, will spawn randomly throughout the room. Defeating elite enemies alone won't clear the room; you must eliminate all enemies to progress. Mini-Game Room: Tour Match introduces new mini-game mechanics, such as escorting a target to a specific location within a time limit or preventing monsters from entering a designated area. Successfully completing these objectives will yield greater rewards. Boss Room: With every few levels successfully passed, players will encounter a boss room. You may need to defeat regular enemies before the boss appears. Upon defeating the boss, you'll not only progress to the next level but also get a chance to spin the "Touring Roulette" for additional rewards, such as Drives or Tier 4 Relics.
Touring Roulette:
Upon defeating the boss in a boss room, players will encounter a "Touring Roulette". Players will receive a certain number of free spins. Each spin will randomly award a prize from the wheel, and the awarded item will be removed from the wheel for subsequent spins. Once you've exhausted your free spins, you can use keys to get additional spins and claim the remaining prizes. Keys can be obtained by participating in Breaking Show or Team Match. Additionally, the Touring Roulette features a "Critical Hit" mechanic, giving players a chance to double their rewards on any given spin! Furthermore, players can use up to two "Prize Bans" per spin to exclude specific prizes from the reward pool. However, the total number of Prize Bans per Circuit Tour is limited, so use them wisely.
Match Preparation:
Match Preparation is a crucial part of the Tour Match, consisting of two primary functions. The first major function ist preparation, which is divided into two categories: Supply List and Battle List. In addition to the familiar starting rewards like Likes and Refresh Counts, the Supply List also provides effective buffs for the Touring Roulette, such as increasing the chance of a critical hit. Additionally, as players prepare a certain number of things, they'll unlock the highly anticipated second feature: disabling Drives and Relics. As the number of prepared projects increases, players can disable up to 12 Drivers and 13 Relics of various tiers within a match, significantly increasing the chances of building their desired builds. We hope the Tour Match brings you some fun. And we have some other Updates: -Louder "Seed II" mission: Fixed an issue where clearing the Preliminaries would incorrectly trigger the Qualifiers. -Simon's weapon customization: Fixed an issue where Heavy ATK 3-1 and Heavy ATK 3-2 could cause an infinite Heavy ATK loop. -Fragility Space: Fixed an issue where crossing layers in Fragility Space would cause the next layer's enemies to become uncontrollable. -Privilege of the Strong: Fixed an issue where this perk could not control Aleksi. -Like Rooms: Fixed an issue where the score could suddenly decrease. -Prosthesis Basic Set: Fixed an issue where the set effect was not working correctly. -Prosthesis Enhancement: Fixed an issue where clicking too quickly could cause incorrect attribute display. -Rookie Agreement: Fixed a text error in the Relic.
