Demo 0.4 Patch Notes

A massive update to the demo is live. It includes the following changes: [list] [*]Overall a lot of improvement to existing content, as well al added new content (items, techniques, enemies, areas, quests, improvements). [*]Added Ignis quest line (consists of 3 missions, 1 in each cycle, each comes with a new and unique area). [*]New 'energy' system: passive power-ups that are unlocked with main story progression. Only 1 of 7 can be active (with this, all planned gameplay systems have been implemented). [*]New 'shop' functionality (and added a shop in Trimvine). [*]Added new Ranged weapon class: Bow. [*]Rebalanced all stats and balance on items, passives, abilities. [*]It's now possible to run while using Guns while performing fast Basic Attacks. [*]Sounds are now proximity based. [*]Added 'scouting' functionality (zoom out the camera temporarily). [*]Removed small game stutters (the game no longer waits for sounds and music to be loaded). [*]Added the option to buy previously acquired weapons from Laura (at Regular grade). [/list] Finishing this version took much longer than expected (due to a lot of revisions, reworks, upgrades and the much bigger size that the Ignis questline ended up being). As such, in order to have the official release ready within a sensible timeline (Q4 of 2025 or Q1 of 2026), from now on I'll aim for smaller-scale but more frequent updates. At the moment, version 0.5 is planned for early November 2024, and version 0.6 for early January 2025.
