Cruise Ship Manager

Take the challenge of managing a cruise ship! Maintain your vessel, plan your route, and sell tickets to the wealthiest passengers. Give tasks to your crew and keep their morale high. Choose the ship's layout and the offered amenities. Keep the prices right, passengers happy, and your wallet full!

The success of your sea-faring enterprise is based on your reputation. And you become reputable by catering to the people's needs. This may sound easy, but passengers are demanding. Every one of them has its preferences. They also all want to be entertained in a clean, exciting environment. That's why they buy the tickets and will pay a lot more if you provide top-notch services. But how to know what you should prioritize to make them happy?
Passengers and their needs
Fortunately, in Cruise Ship Manager you have easy access to information on every passenger. By clicking the PASSENGERS tab located on the bottom left part of the screen, you open up a menu in which you can select each of them individually and look at their preferences and current condition. You can also sort this menu by Hapinnes or Needs. If you want to check a passenger you see on deck at the moment, just click on them to view a window with all of the statistics depicting the current condition of this person, When you click on a person in the PASSENGERS menu, on the right you get all the info on them. Under portrait and name, you can find the Preferences of the passenger. These inform you about the rooms they expect to find on your cruise ship. Under the preferences, you can check the level of the two most important statistics in form of two bars:

Happiness - indicates if the person is happy with the services you offer, is served on time and their environment is clean, and all the objects around are in a good state.
Needs - indicates the level of needs of the passenger being met and is tied to the sub-statistics which we will get into below.
Keeping both of the bars as full as possible is the key to keeping a passenger pleased and hitting your happiness goal for the cruise, and thus reputation points and additional earnings. Under the Needs bar, you have several sub-statistics bars. Those bars indicate a current level of fulfillment of the basic needs of a person. When each of the bars gets filled, the main Needs bar gets filled by a certain amount as well.

Energy - indicates how well slept and ready for activity the passenger is.
Hunger - indicates if the food-related needs of the passenger are fulfilled.
Fun - indicates if the passenger is well-entertained.
Thirst - indicates if the drink-related needs of the passenger are fulfilled.
Bladder - everyone needs to relieve themselves, and have access to the toilets around the ship.
When the level of those bars is low, you can be sure that this person will seek to fulfill their needs. For example, hungry person is sure to come to the diner soon and a person needing fun will appear at the disco or casino in no time.
