[b]Hello everyone![/b] This is the first from the series of Devlogs that will precede the release of Chef's Tail. We will be updating you with the newest information from the game, as well as some sneak peeks into development, to help you understand the world of Chef's Tail and our creative vision. As you know, Underworld is quite an abundant theme in mythology, for the narrative design of the game that could be either a boon or a bane. On one hand, we have all those incredible characters from the Greek epic poems. On the other hand, we certainly wanted a more light-hearted experience for the game. We also wanted to create something unique, world-building-wise. Charon’s duty is to transport the souls to the Underworld. But unlike in Greek mythology, the souls are not going to stay in this Underworld forever. With some luck and a bit of obols (ancient currency), they may, very well, reach their next destination even in a few hours! This makes our Charon’s duty a lot less grim and dark compared to original myths. Yes, he is still moody and bad-tempered, though caring as an old, but grumpy grandpa.
