Hello everyone, We have a new build for World Ship Simulator today! It has been a while since we uploaded a build, as some may know in games development, as one thing is repaired, several other issues may be introduce in its place! This had happened for us, but what this means is that we now have a particularly large changelog! [img]http://i.imgur.com/K6PzMZX.jpg[/img] Among the changes are some improvements to the internal bridge view, including new instruments and the ability to move the camera by holding the right mouse click. The full list is below: [h1]Additions:[/h1] [list][*]When in first person view, players can hit Q to bring up the virtual controls. This means that the player can manoeuvre the vessel while in FPS mode. The controls can only be operated using the mouse [*]When in Bridge view, holding the right mouse button will allow you to look around [*]Introduced a new Semi Lock control scheme that will allow you to lock the controls after each input, but not have to unlock the controls fully to make changes. [*]Navigational and Cabin lights are now independent switches so that players can choose to turn the lights on independently. [*]Created buttons for the cabin and navigational lights [*]Added a damage gauge indicator to bridge view [*]Added Radar to all player ships [*]Radar will detect fixed and moving ships [*]Added fuel gauge indicator to bridge view [*]Added a depth gauge indicator to internal view [*]Added compass to the internal view [*]Added indicators for rotation and speed [*]Added a button to use the horn in the bridge [*]Players can now double click any of the engine controls to reset them to zero. [*]Some work done on engine sounds for headphones [*]Changed female walk animation [*]When there is a storm the waters inside the harbour will be much calmer[/list] [h1]Fixes[/h1] [list][*]Fixed an error when a blank banner would appear when completing towing missions [*]Fixed an issue where players could not complete the mission ‘Tow through the harbour [*]The pier height has been decreased as suggested by players [*]Fixed an issue where when moving the camera with ship lights on, the ship lights would flash on and off quickly [*]Fixed an issue where the cursor on MAC version is much larger than the PC version [*]Fixed an issue where the image of the fishing boat in the store showed a completely different boat than the one that players could purchase. [*]Fixed an issue where the minimap would not function correctly when fast travelling or leaving the harbour [*]Fixed an issue where players could fast travel on a jetty or harbour object causing immediate damage [*]Fixed an issue where the one of the female models would over time decide to evacuate using the nearest window [*]In the tutorial, camera was spelt incorrectly [*]Fixed some collision detection on ships [*]Fixed an issue where the ocean may disappear when travelling at high speeds [*]Addressed an issue where the mouse cursor would not lock correctly when alt tabbing [*]Fixed an issue where if you are moving and attempt to moor, the ship will continue to move forward and may break your ship, Doing this caused players to not be able to repair their ship until a full restart [*]Key bindings now save when quitting the game [*]Fixed an issue where players would be able to beach themselves on certain parts of the scenery. [*]Fixed a camera issue where the camera can be moved underwater in the tug boat. [*]Floating moor icons are now solid and viewable from all angles [*]Added some new lights to Hovercraft model [*]Some work done to improve performance in rain and fog [*]Engine controls are now easier to use while in bridge view [*]Engine controls and instruments inside the bridge no longer shake[/list] [h1]Other[/h1] [list][*]Improved framerate in harbour areas[/list] We do have a couple of known issues, please do let us know if you experience the following: [h1]Known Issues:[/h1] [list][*]When fast traveling, the ocean will begin to move rapidly for several seconds. [*]Some users may experience a stutter in camera movement. Please do let us know if you are affected by this as we are attempting to replicate it for a full fix.[/list] This will probably be the last update before the New Year.
