Tentacle monsters have taken pony waifus hostage. It's your job to save them all through extreme violence, achieve pony zen, do Stardust responsibly, and don't think about the meaning of one guy’s war against the universe. Or why cats. This is an accessible cute 'em up after all!
So - We finished a lot of other important steps towards the demo release. We cleaned up and improved a lot of the weaker parts of the game. Have a list of the more important changes:
[list]
[*] Interactive dialogs with the Waifus.
[*] Branching story paths; One of them is solvable in the demo.
[*] Improved in-game tutorial.
[*] Removed Researching, because it bogged down crafting.
[*] Crafting recipes are discovered with the items.
[*] All four crafting slots are now available from the start.
[*] Reflecting bullets got replaced with bullet absorption, which makes your bullets stronger.
[*] Improved throwing and made it more useful.
[*] Throwing environmental parts like trees and rocks is now possible.
[*] Improved monster/environment interactions.
[*] Also improved monster/item interactions.
[*] Poneh eats the monster when boosting and heals if his appetite is high enough.
[*] Added a dodge mechanic, which allows Poneh to boost into any direction.
[*] Added stamina, which allows Poneh to deal extra damage.
[*] Proper imbalancing of more difficult to use actions like throwing, boosting and cats.
[*] Simplified handling of items carried by Poneh. You can now carry all the stuff at once.

And also a bunch of small bug fixes and improvements - probably too many to list in one post. The full log of my changes are also in discord. I basically post my commit messages there. They contain everything, including work on tools and code.
What comes next? While the demo release on steam is on its way, I will make a bunch of smaller improvements and fixes to our build pipeline. Parallel to that I will work massively on the Poneh Zen system and Crafting. These two features will bring us much closer to Early Access.
We will also start contacting publishers very soon. We are really hyped for the game to turn from a part-time-almost-solo-dev project to a full time developed endeavour. With each day we come closer to the end of the pre-production. And then it will be content, content and more content. Level art, story arcs, dialogs, monster designs, items, graphics and music. Sometimes we are impressed by what can be done in two days. Because of that we want to see where the game can go with a team, but also with you being part of an Early Access release.
Thank you for being here with us and next time we talk, it's hopefully about the demo or publisher announcement.
