Using 40 microphones and 8 recorders, we captured the sounds of 25 different weapon models, resulting in over 12,000 samples and 170GB of data. Each sound was meticulously crafted to reflect the unique characteristics of each weapon and enhance the game’s atmosphere. The approach to sound design is rooted in three principles: realism, impact, and variety. Every shot isn’t just heard but felt, helping players make strategic decisions in the heat of battle.
