Rally Mechanic Simulator has taken a tangible form and you’ll soon be able to give it a shot during the upcoming playtests. However, it was a busy year for us - we’ve done so much work on the game, we were almost surprised when we were preparing the list of our accomplishments. We’ll present it below and, what’s more interesting, we’ll share our plans for the future. [*] [b]Car upgrade system[/b]. [*] [b]In-game parts store[/b]. [*] [b]Car customization system[/b]. [*] [b]Bodywork damage system[/b]. [*] [b]The commentary system[/b] - you’ll hear it on the radio during the rallies. [*] Introduction of parts and assets like [b]garage upgrades[/b] that will allow you to progress in the game. [*] Plenty of other stuff. [/list] We’ve also made plenty of great art and assets, some of which you can have a look at now! There are still quite a lot of things we need to make and milestones we have to reach. However, we’re able to say with confidence that this was a good year for the team and we’re close to three next big steps. Let’s talk about the future, then. [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40282246/9d8527f0c202c9b0d8f13433dcb3eae128f5d94b.png[/img] [h2]2024 is going to be great![/h2] There will be plenty of opportunities to give Rally Mechanic Simulator a shot in the upcoming few months. Firstly, there are the [b]upcoming playtests[/b]. We’re still working on the game, trying to polish it and to have it in the state we want it to be. The tests are of great importance to us, as we’d love you to enjoy the game and provide feedback regarding it - suggestions, bugs, ideas, and anything goes. The tests will most likely last for a fixed amount of time, so if you wanna give RMS a shot and share your thoughts on the game, you better not miss out on it! The tests will feature the garage and two rallies with a service park at your disposal. The rallies will differ from each other to show a substantial glimpse of what to expect from the game. Secondly, we expect to [b]release a demo for the upcoming Steam Next Fest in February[/b]. It will not be time-limited like the test and will remain up indefinitely. It will definitely be a more extensive build of the game and we’re sure you’ll love it. You’ll be able to play in about 2 months! The demo will feature a couple of hours' worth of gameplay, so you’ll definitely scratch your itch until the next release… :) Thirdly, and this is the really big one, we’ll release the [b]Early Access version of Rally Mechanic Simulator around the middle of 2024![/b] You’ll be able to purchase and play the game, while we’ll be delivering and polishing more and more stuff. This will lead to a full release in the future. We really hope for your support from day one!
