0.9.5 – ❤️‍🔥 Hot Update! Storage Network, Work Areas Rework, Fixes

Hello everyone! In this update, I’ve significantly reworked the storage system, work areas, and made several other improvements. I believe this update has made the game more intuitive and much less confusing! A huge thanks to everyone for your feedback and suggestions, which greatly helped in designing this update! [h3]Storages Network:[/h3] When constructing storage buildings, their work area (130 meters) will be displayed. Storages within this radius can be linked into a single network once both buildings are fully constructed and connected. Note: There must be no other buildings between the linked storages to establish the connection. A unified storage network sums up the total capacity and resources of all connected storages. This means that buildings connected to the network won’t need to figure out which specific storage to pull resources from or where to place finished products. This created excessive visual clutter, making it difficult to understand what was going on. Now, all buildings have one large work area (700 meters) within which they can connect and interact with other buildings. The work area is outlined with a thick border, preventing it from visually conflicting with other zones. By expanding your storage network with new connection nodes, you can reduce traffic jams caused by ships queuing up at storages! Other bugs that could cause crashes were also fixed. [*] Fixed several performance leaks. [*] Fixed an issue where the color of a newly built ship wouldn’t apply to its icon in the UI. [*] Fixed incorrect ship icons displaying in route lists. [*] Improved the contrast of highlighted elements. [*] Improved responsiveness when selecting buildings. [*] Fixed a bug where the building's work area would lag behind the building’s movement during construction. [*] Fixed the progress display for ore extraction objectives.
