Set out for a new life away from the city to rebuild a town from scratch. Decorate, collect, produce, and befriend in this cat-ivating life sim!
Meowllo!
I realized that you used to be able to purchase all the wall panels (Softwood, Drywall, etc.) from the get-go, including things like Nails and Concrete Slab.
Short of it:

Building Materials now split into three: the first now able to be taken and completed before the Grassy Plain's Obelisk completion

You now have to buy the wall panels, concrete slab, etc. from the blueprint shop. If you've already learned these recipes, this doesn't affect you

You'll only get access to the wall panels now as you unlock the ability to get the raw materials for them

New questline Futures Market added for those farther along. Requires Kiryl and finishing up to Building Materials III (Desert Canyon completion)
After some things were changed into quests, you were no longer able to easily get the 20 Concrete Slabs required for the Obelisk unless you got lucky breaking down debris.
Building Material has been changed to Building Material I, the first of three quests, and is immediately unlocked after "Intro to the Carpenter's Guild", making it now possible to purchase the Concrete Slab recipe before you unlock the mines.
Instead of the recipes being directly taught, they now cost money in the shop. My intention with money in the early game should be that you feel the need to consider whether to hold onto items or sell them, instead of just simply hoarding everything you come across because currency currently holds little value outside of buying seeds.

Instead of one quest giving you access to all the wall panels, Building Material II and III will now incrementally add the different wall panels and framing to your shop, making it align better with where you are in the MSQ and whether or not you can even obtain the raw materials.
Included now in the quest are tasks that are soft ways of teaching you how to get materials, such as Building Material I letting you know Glue is made from putting Birch or Toasted Birch Wood into a furnace.
Once those are completed, along with some other quests, there is a new quest for those farther along in the game: Futures Market. It's a continuation of some of the world lore covered in Digging Through the Archives. While working on this, since I wanted the quest to branch off based on what you pick, I noticed a bug that also affected some other quests, which explains why sometimes Two Eyes for Nothing would not completely properly for some players. Sorry;; I have fixed!!

It'll set things up nicely for future quests and story bits I'd like to integrate into our mines update, so look forward to that!
