The Snps wagon is a flatbed design with the purpose of transporting longitudinal beams, such as logs, pipework and timber. They are open flat beds with high supporting pillars which are used to tie-down loads. Almost 2000 of the wagons were present at their peak in the 1990s, even in recent years though, over 1100 are still in service across Germany.

In Train Simulator, virtualRailroads’ Snps Wagon Pack 01 includes an authentic recreation of the wagon, including several variants of log loads.
