As a soul lost in limbo you must defeat the greater demons and the devil to end your cyclical hell. Drift across a procedural map, collect new weapons and escape to the hub to stash your loot. Pack the ultimate nap sack for each run and master the brutal underworld bit by bit.
Skull Scavenger is a difficult game where death results in losing all your items, however if you find an exit and survive a run through the underworld you will get to add to your horde of items back at your main base. This results in engaging gameplay with very high highs and low lows.
The main goal in Skull Scavenger is to...
The only escape for a soul stuck in limbo is to defeat the greater demons and the devil.
Greater demons roam each area. Defeating the greater demons will unlock new powers, transform the map for that run, and allow you to challenge the devil. These fights won't be easy so make sure you bring the right equipment to challenge each one.
Collecting relics, and weapons in your stash will give you access to new synergistic strategies and plans for your next run.
While moving at max speed you reflect bullets and can slam into enemies. Blow back from your weapons can be used to increase your speed, Hook shots can be fired to quickly ram enemies, Various special effects are triggered by drifting depending on what Relics you choose to equip
Each run you enter a new map at a new spawn location and must get to a new exit location to escape. There are special areas and exits to unlock. The map generates altars that will allow you to heal, exchange health for loot, get temporary special powers and much more.
Completing bets, and requests with the various characters you come across will improve your chances by allowing you to purchase new items, expand your storage space and unlock new ways to interact with the procedural maps.
When you die in Skull scavenger you lose everything you bring in and everything you have collected during the current run, Except for a special limited space inventory that allows you to keep a couple items.
In order to beat the game you must defeat all bosses in one run. The more time you spend in a singular run the harder it gets as the hatred in the underworld grows so you need to make sure you bring the right items in and use them at the right times for one final perfect run.
