A mercenary on a quest to unearth the secrets of his house's buried past, whose monstrous greatsword and hoard of fabled heirlooms grant him the wherewithal to compel submission from every opposition. By virtue of its monumental weight, Alasdair's greatsword cannot be wielded with any additional dexterity - any would-be bonus to attack speed amplifies its damage instead - but also renders its user immune to stunlock while being swung.
Furthermore, tapping the attack button again at an opportune moment (when his silhouette returns back to body) following a normal attack triggers Overpower, a strike that deals increased damage and grants Alasdair unflinching for its duration.
