Zeke's Peak First Update is Live!

Zeke's Peak

Zeke’s Peak is a vibrant reimagining of Taito's classic mechanical arcade game, launching the arcade spirit into the 21st century with dozens of new levels and unique play styles to tell the story of a hero who wants nothing more than to climb all of the things. Including classic Zeke's Peak and Ice Cold Beer!
What's new in Zeke's Peak version 1.0.2
Classic Tower: Can you reach the top of the climbing tower in this brand new classic-style level? Be careful not to fall off the edge! New Challenge Achievements: Did you know that you can earn achievements for finding shortcuts in some levels? This update adds 5 new achievements which will require some tricky maneuvering! Expert Classic Levels: We've added new, more challenging, versions of all of the classic levels (Zeke's Peak, Ice Cold Beer, Classic Jungle, Classic Ice, and the new Classic Tower). Similar to the original arcade cabinets, the game doesn't end when you reach the 10th hole! Keep playing as many rounds as you can until you lose all 3 balls. Beware: Each round gets harder and harder. In the first round, the bar will raise on its own if you leave it idle too long. In subsequent rounds, the bar raises on its own regardless, faster with each round, making it increasingly difficult to control with precision. (This is comparable to the "difficult" auto-jump setting from ICE's 2003 version of the Ice Cold Beer cabinet.) Furthermore, the bonus timer in this new mode is decremented every 2 seconds, replicating the original cabinet's default setting. We're excited to see who can make it to the top of the leaderboards! Consistent Starts: In Classic levels, several players noted that the first ball starts at the right of the bar, but subsequent balls start in the center (which is easier). This update ensures that the ball always starts in the center of the bar. (In a future update, we intend to more closely replicate the reset behavior of the cabinet; but this at least makes things consistent for now.) MHOOK Input Support: This update adds an option to prevent the mouse cursor from being disabled so users can navigate the menus and play the game using this device. (This setting can be enabled from the "Gameplay" menu.) Visual Improvements: The dodgy trails have been improved for some balls and removed for the others. We've made improvements to some visual effects and added new ones. Bug Fixes: We fixed numerous bugs, including - several achievement fixes - faster mouse wheel scrolling in menus - the ball squish issue on Two Flights - many more... We also want to mention that support for vertical monitors is almost ready and will be released very soon in our next update, along with some overall improvements to the level selection and menu interfaces. Thanks again to everyone who has provided so much great feedback since the game launched two weeks ago! We sincerely appreciate your support.
