There are a few important changes in this update.
First, some new GUI features have been added. When you start a new round, you now get to see the order of each player (or bot) so you can work out who is standing at which podium. Similarly, there is now a halo around your character. This makes it easy to identify where your robot is if you are playing without cosmetics. There's also some other neat changes, like an exclamation mark that appears above your robot if you run out of time, and some confetti at the end of the round.
Secondly, the game now uses an updated version of Unity. This will help maintain compatibility and security, which is always important.
Thirdly, some important fixes have been made, especially to the Workshop uploader, but also some corrections to text in the question packs and changes to the Midnight Glitter chamber which was looking too spooky in comparison to the rest of the visuals.
What's next?
It's been a quiet couple of months on our end but work has continued on Robot Trivia Funtime. With much of the game in place now, we're considering moving out of Early Access soon into full release, and simply treating new features as nice-to-have updates.
The Robot Trivia Funtime demo has had a lot of attention and it's been fun to see the odd stream and video here and there. We're going to update the demo next and bring it up to speed with the current version and give it access to some extra question packs.
That's all for now. See ya!
