The demo version includes two trivia packs: games and general knowledge. It also lets you play single-player against any combination of 5 of the bots introduced in a recent update. You can also try out the question editor and save your projects for later. The demo version will be updated with important major features, but won't have all of the recent changes. It's intended as a test so curious players can see where we're at with early access development.
