Watch Out For Goblins!

Run and jump a ragdoll goblin through a hilarious physics sandbox! Explore and collect Power Cogs alone- or with a friend in split screen! Repair Gobland and become Goblin Royalty! There's no saying what might happen, and no stopping the BIG GOBLIN ENERGY!

The time has come to start sharing Watch Out for Goblins! with the world. We are looking for players interested in helping us playtest in advance of our early access release. If that sounds like something you want to help with you can now sign up for the WOFG! Playtest from our store page. [b]You can sign up to be a playtester right now, but first here are some things to keep in mind:[/b] [list] [*] The playtest will be time limited. This means you will eventually lose access to the playtest build. We plan to run the playtest for several months before replacing it with a publicly accessible demo version of WOFG! [*] Save data is not guaranteed to carry over between playtest versions. You might lose all your progress (but that’s okay because the current game is very sand-boxy, there’s not much progress to make). [*] You may run into performance issues. We are trying to strike a balance between big open levels with lots of things to interact with and maintaining a consistent framerate. We’ve done some optimization on this build, and we have plans for more, but you should be aware that the game may not run well, especially on older hardware. [*] You will encounter some bugs. We think we’ve squished the most game breaking ones, but there are likely still some lurking here and there. We are hoping that playtesters can help us find and squish more bugs before we launch the game properly. [b]But what can you do in the Watch Out for Goblins! playtest? [/b] [list] [*] Be a Goblin! Walk, run, jump, grab, punch, shove, and kick. All using an active ragdoll character blended with motion capture animations. [*] Explore a sandbox level to collect over thirty power cogs. [*] Interact with dozens of obstacles and contraptions for wacky physics interactions. [*] Discover minigames: Smash yourself into obstacles to rack up points in a Goblin Ordeal, race through the checkpoints in a Goblin Footrace, and challenge your friends to competition with a rousing game of Goblin Sacker. [*] Meet aggressive goblin NPCs that chase you down and give you a shove. [*] Drown in some sludge, knock yourself out with a barrel, fall off a mountain and land head first in a pile of dirt, and do it all with 1-4 players in split screen multiplayer.
