What do all these menu's do?

BiteVille

The world has fallen victim to a deadly virus, zombies now roam the lands. While running for your life you stumble upon a small city. Claim this city as your own, protect it with your life and maybe other survivors will find you.

Hey everyone! We noticed some questions about the use of all the menu's, When we Beta tested noone brought up the issue of "to much information", this was probably because everyone understood the concept of the game. After seeing a Video of someone playing BiteVille we saw what was wrong, too much information and all menu's were accessible after round 1 while they only start having a use later in the game. So in the most recent patch we have tried to fix that.
Patchnotes:

Escape button now works on every menu
Menu's are now only accessible when they have a use (more information below)
Walking backwards speed increased from 1,5 to 3
Some area's still had issues with zombies getting stuck, this should be fixed
"Buy" and "show info" buttons were sometimes only clickable on one half of the button, also fixed!
Build inventory visual bug
Added support for a wider range of screen aspect ratio's

Further explanation on all the menu's
Also i would like to explain a few aspects of the game, i understand that thats not the way to go and that everything should be clear, we will work on improving that. But as of right now it hurts to see that people don't understand the main features and quit the game after not understanding.

The research tree goes automatic, its just a progress bar that you can keep track of to see when you research new cool things.
You can buy the weapons and builds researched in the research tree at the weapon and build store at the main square. Once you have bought a build (available after 3) you can press "B" this will bring out your build tool, you can also see all the builds you have bought when pressing "I". Remember that you can only build in between rounds.
After round 5 the radio woman and medic appear, the radio woman will send signal to survivors. At round 6 the first survivor will approach the city (this is indicated by a question mark above the head of the radio women). Talk to her to see the 2 skills of the survivor, Combat and intelligence, you can then assign the survivor to one of two roles, researcher (every intelligence point = 1 research point each round, if they survive the round) or a defender (the higher the combat the more dmg they deal).
When you have assigned a survivor to a role the city management map will show up, here you can decide in what building the scientist will work (so they are easier to defend) or where your defender will defend (to create places for your defenders to defend you need to place watchpoints around the map that can be bought at the buildstore)
If a survivor dies, he or she can be bought back to life at the medic in between rounds!
One last thing, you can only buy ammo at the ammo boxes for guns that you have already researched, so keep track of your ammo if you are playing with a rare un-researched gun that you got from the mystery box!
Everything should be easier to understand now that all these different menu's only work when they can be used and i hope that this explanation helps with further understanding all the features of the game :) Thanks for all the positive and negative feedback stay safe and have a good time building up your city! Cheers, Jonahsav
